VOTING INFORMATION
Eligibility:
You are eligible to
vote if you are a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, and a
resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to the
vote.
Voter registration:
You must be
pre-registered to vote. Voter registration will be held on 4/22 and
4/27 at the district office, located at WJSHS. If you have any
questions about the voter registration process, please call the
Clerk of the Board, Bernadette Boardman, at 629-3201.
Absentee ballots:
Absentee ballots will be automatically mailed to disabled voters
on April 30. Anyone else who wishes to vote by absentee ballot
needs to stop by the district office, located at WJSHS, to pick
up an application. Once the application is submitted, (mail-in
deadline is Tuesday, May 12) a ballot will be mailed to you.
You may pick up an
application and ballot in person up until 4:00 pm on Monday, May
18. Absentee ballots will be counted only if they are returned
to the district office no later than 4 pm on election day,
Tuesday May 19.
On the day of
the vote:
Be sure to bring
proof of identity with you to the polls (such as a driver’s license
or non-driver’s identification card). The polls are open for voting
on May 19 from noon - 9 p.m. at four polling locations:

Mannsville: Elks
Club, 4th Avenue & 5th Street

Ward II:
Watervliet City Hall, Broadway & 15th Street

Ward III:
Watervliet Elementary,10th Ave. & 25th Street

Ward IV:
Hanratta Apartments 500, 16th Street
