What's happening with the construction project
at WES?

Work occurring at Watervliet Elementary School includes: asbestos
abatement; replacement of outdated and inefficient heating and air
conditioning systems; roof replacement; restructuring and
rehabilitation of the current building; addition of eight
classrooms; and security improvements.
Work occurring at the Jr.-Sr. High School includes: new roofing; new
grandstands and walkways for the football field; replacement of
select inner and outer doors; and security improvements.
Phase one of this capital project began on June 26 and will be
completed this fall. Phase two is beginning this fall and is on
track for completion in September 2008.
