Building project- passed by community March 2008
The Watervliet City Schools Board of Education recently approved a resolution for a $21.7 million building proposition that will go to voters on March 4, 2008. The proposal expands and renovates the Watervliet Jr./Sr. High School and also includes some additional improvements to the Watervliet Elementary School. Current building project at WES
In February 2007, voters overwhelmingly approved an $8.6 million dollar capital project which focused on Watervliet Elementary. The project is being financed by State Aid and EXCEL Grant funds with no local taxpayer contribution needed, and is on schedule to be completed by September 2008.
