Supply Lists for 2008-09 School Year:

In an effort to help parents plan ahead for the busy back-to-school time at the end of the summer, here is a list of grade level supplies that all classrooms will be using when we come back to school in September. Your child’s teacher may require a few additional items.  They will not be needed the first week of school. You will receive this additional list when your child meets with their teacher in September. Please be sure to label all supplies with your child’s name.  Have a wonderful summer.

Kindergarten

• 2 24 count boxes of crayons

• 2 40z  bottles of glue

• 1 box of tissues

• 1 container of baby wipes

• 1 box of baggies

• smock for painting

• 1 marble composition notebook

• wallet or change purse

• sneakers for gym

• shoe box

First Grade

• 3 marble composition notebooks

• 5 pocket folders (different colors if possible)

• 1 bottle of glue

• 6 glue sticks

• colored pencils

• crayons

• scissors

• #2 pencils (at least 24)

• 2 boxes of kleenex

• 2 boxes of baby wipes

• 2 small, soft art (pencil) boxes

• 1 box of quart size zip-lock bags

• 1 box of gallon size zip-lock bags

• 1 child friendly hand sanitizer

• book bag / back pack

 Second Grade

• 1 package of loose leaf paper (must be wide ruled or ½” rule)

• 3 Pocket Folders

• 8 Glue Sticks

• 3 marble composition notebooks (not spiral)

• Crayons (no bigger than 24 count)

• Scissors (metal edged, Fiskars are the best)

• Pencils (at least 24) Sharpened These will need to be replaced throughout the year.

• 1 Package of eraser tops

• 1 large box of  tissues

• A SMALL art box

• A box (15) zip-loc bags.  Boys bring quart size.  Girls bring gallon size.

• 1 large container of Baby Wipes.  These are great for clean up.

• Book bag large enough to hold folders

• Sneakers for gym days

Third Grade

• 5 marble composition notebooks

• loose leaf paper (wide rule), Year supply

• #2 pencils with erasers, Year supply

• Two pocket folders, 1 green, 1 purple, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 blue

• 2 Red pens

• 1 high lighter

• 1 crayons

• 1 markers

• 1 colored pencils

• 1 Zip lock bags (freezer – gal./qt./sand/)

• 2 facial tissues

• 2 glue sticks

Fourth Grade

• 2 dozen # 2 pencils, preferably the yellow, wooden type. Pencils with designs and glitter do not sharpen well in our pencil sharpeners

• 2 red pens

• 2 marble composition notebooks

• 1 five subject notebook

• 2 two pocket folders

• Crayons

• Colored pencils

• A soft container for your crayons/pencils/colored pencils. NO HARD ART BOXES….we do not have room to store these

• 2 packages of wide ruled loose-leaf paper

• 2 two pocket folders (any color)

• 2 boxes of tissues

• 2 glue sticks

• Scissors

• 2 large pink erasers

• Back pack large enough to hold textbooks, notebooks, and folders. NO GYM BAGS

Fifth Grade

• Bookbag/backpack large enough to hold notebooks, books, etc.

• Art supplies

• Box #2 Pencils with erasers

• 5 blue or black pens (no GEL pens)

• Glue stick

• 4 packages of loose-leaf paper

• Pocket folder

• Scissors

• 2 boxes of Kleenex

• Pencil case or bag

• Composition notebooks

• Flexible binder (no Trapper Keepers!)

• Highlighter

• Ruler (with standard and metric measurements)

•  2 ½ inch 3 ring binder

• 2 pocket folders (different colors)

• 2 single subject notebooks (different colors)

• 2 marble composition notebooks

• 1 box of crayons

• 1 box of colored pencils

• 1 box of markers

• Pens (blue or black)

• 1 highlighter

• 2 glue sticks

• 1 set of dividers

• pencil case to clip in the binder

• Lots of loose leaf paper

• Ruled 3x5 index cards (100)

• 2 boxes of tissues

• Packet of  8x11 construction paper

• Lots of # 2 pencils 

• Scissors

• Pencil sharpener
