National
Honor Society:
BACK
NHS and NJHS are more than just an honor roll. The Honor Society chapter establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character (plus citizenship for NJHS). These criteria for selection form the foundation upon which the organization and its activities are built. Check out the National Honor Society Website for more information!

Announcements: The four values of National Honor Society: Character- The combination of qualities or features that distinguishes one person, group, or thing from another. ** National Honor Society members should always show good character. Leadership- Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. ** national Honor Society members should always exhibit good leadership skills. Scholarship- The character, qualities, activity, or attainments of a scholar ** Scholarship is a major factor when it comes to admission to and staying in the National Honor Society Service- Work done by one person or a group that benefits another person or group. ** 20 Hours of community service is a requirement of being in the National Honor Society. |
