In an attempt to provide daily information on Watervliet athletic events, the athletic department has established a hotline message phone number 629-3309 for your convenience. In the event of inclement weather, it is advised that the hotline be checked for updates regarding cancellations or delays.

On Tuesday, February 23, the Boys Varsity Basketball team (number 2 seed) will be playing Stillwater here at home at 7:00.
The Girls Varsity Basketball team (number 1 seed) will also be playing here at home on Wednesday February 24, at 6:00 against the winner of the Emma Willard vs. Schalmont game being played this Saturday. Good luck!!

Congratulations to the Varsity Wrestling team and to Coach Lane for placing 2nd overall in the Class "CC" Tournament.  There were six finalists:  Champions - John Delaney and Brian Walsh; Second Place - Andrew Etman, Anthony Mosca, Zach Morris and Mike Castle; Third Place - Mike McNally, Cory Thompson and James Valentin; Fifth Place - Josh Veshia, Justin Oravsky and Brad Pierson.

Watervliet City School is governed by the New York State High School Athletic Association, Section 2, and the Colonial Athletic Conference, competing as a Class “B/C” sized school.
