The Watervliet Junior Senior High School was the site of Mayor Michael Manning's 2012 State of the City Address on Friday, Feb. 17.
Watervliet students, community members and invited guests gathered in the Harry Tucker Gymnasium to hear the 30-minute speech, which outlined the city's accomplishments during the past year.
"We are extremely proud that the mayor chose our school to give his annual State of the City address," said Superintendent Dr. Lori Caplan. "He continues to be very supportive of our school district and the city has accomplished a great deal under his leadership."
